Being dead is confusing, no doubt about it. It is very difficult. It is very lonely.
You would know, wouldn't you?
If you feel you are ready to continue living your life after death, please reply to this letter. If you are fine in the grave, disregard this.

You fold up the letter, and put it away somewhere, not quite sure where. After all, why would you need it? You aren't dead, are you? Definitely not.... Yet....
The accident that'll happen in the next few days seems to have different ideas about that. Your life is ripped away and you are killed. Though not for long.
Somehow, you have come back to life. But not fully. You have become undead.
At first, you try to live a normal life, but certain aspects of your self seem to always distract people. Maybe it's the rotting flesh, or the lust for blood; Maybe it's the way you act around the full moon, or the fact that you seem to always be a bit pale.

The letter you received from the society seems to call to you, and you decide to reply to it. Mere hours after you sent the letter, you receive a reply.

Dear Sir/Madame/Person of Unknown Gender
We invite you to a meeting of the Society. Time, Location, and Date will be enclosed in the envelope containing this letter.
This meeting will explain ways to cope in daily life and pass as a human without getting too many stares. It will also give you a chance to meet others in your situation.
Once you arrive at the location of the meeting, please register at the booth displaying 'Sign Ups'. You will be asked to complete a form, please do so to the best of your ability.
You will then be accepted and invited into the meeting.

Following the directions that were enclosed in the letter, you go to the meeting. There you find the appropriate booth, and are greeted by a man (or was it a woman? You couldn't quite tell) sitting there.

After a short conversation, he hands you two sheets of paper and a pen to fill them out with. You sit down at a nearby table and look at the two papers.

Rules of the Society (And of the Roleplay):
1. Please don't show off your powers (No powerplaying or godmodding)
2. Don't convince people you are perfect, you aren't (No Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus or invincible characters)
3. Be polite to everyone (Self-Explanatory, wouldn't you agree?)
4. Please write your name in coloured pen (If you read the rules, put your character's name in any colour)
5. Be detailed when filling out your application (This is semi-literate, so at least three sentences per post, please)
6. Feel free to invite friends, provided they are undead (Have as many characters as you like, but no humans or living creatures)
7. Have fun at the meeting (Do I need to translate this?)

Species of Undead: Zombie
Appearance: Johnny is surprisingly good looking for a zombie, although it is very difficult to tell if he is male or female (Which is the look he is going for). His hair is black and reaches his chest in length. It is naturally straight, but half of the time he curls it. Johnny's eyes are completely black; pupil, iris, even the white is black. It often gives him a slightly scary appearance, but it is an identifying trait of zombies, so there is nothing he can do to change it. Johnny used to attempt to wear coloured contacts to hide some of the blackness, but found them hindering his vision so he stopped wearing them. His skin is deathly pale due to a lack of blood flow, and in some areas has a slightly greenish tint, possibly signifying rotting flesh. There is the slightest odor of formaldehyde surrounding Johnny, but he often covers it with heavy flower scented perfume that somehow never seems to overwhelm the nose (save for in the case of werewolves and vampires, and other species that rely on their sense of smell). Johnny is generally wearing unisex clothes, often donning a pair of jeans and then possibly a woman's blouse. He tends to stay away from clothes that are obviously male or female, such as basketball shorts and t-shirts, or dresses and skirts. There is a bullet wound in his chest.
Personality: Friendly, almost obnoxiously so, Johnny has a people-loving personality, and hates to be alone. He is kind to anyone and rarely ever loses his temper. Because of this self-control, he was hired as the receptionist for the Society, and is the one who gives new members the applications and answers all the questions. Of course, he takes equal part in the meetings, especially considering the fact that he still has difficulties blending in with normal society. Johnny tends to be a little bit vain, and is often obsessive about his appearance. He hates it when people mention that he is dead, and takes personal insult if people point out the fact that he is a zombie. Johnny isn't the most organized of people, so it is quite shocking that more applications haven't gone missing over the course of his career.
